Cook Receives Lifetime Award from the Disability Resource Center
The City of Knoxville’s Stephanie Brewer Cook received a special Lifetime Award from the Disability Resource Center at their ADA Anniversary Celebration Luncheon. The Lifetime Spirit of ADA Award honors Stephanie for her advocacy and the huge difference she has made in our community for people with disabilities in the last 25 years.
In addition to serving as the City’s Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) ADA Coordinator, she also heads the City’s Disability Services Office, which coordinates compliance activities throughout the City and provides accommodations for citizens to attend public meetings as well as for City employees.
