Here are some highlights of the 2023 Neighborhood Resource Fair.
Deputy Director of the Parks and Recreation department Aaron Browning, center, champions all the opportunities the City provides to play, exercise and learn. Kirk Anderson, left, is a Greenway Ambassador and the 2018 recipient of the City's Neighbor of the Year award. Anne Crais, right, was named Neighbor of the year in 2020. She is active in both the West Hills and the Wesley Friends neighborhood associations.
Mayor Indya Kincannon spoke with neighbors at the Waste and Resources Management table, staffed by Director Makenzie Read. Visitors to the table were reminded by a flyer that plastic bags do not belong anywhere near your recycling cart or its contents.

Zoo Knoxville representatives provided opportunities to learn about exhibitions and animals at the zoo, including this snake.
