Mayor Indya Kincannon, City Council members Charlie Thomas, Lynne Fugate, Amelia Parker, and Debbie Helsley, along with newly elected City Judge Tyler Caviness, will be officially sworn in the morning of Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023.
Members of the public are invited to the ceremony that will take place at 10:30 a.m. in the Main Assembly Room at the City County Building.
Career Magnet Academy Senior William Mendoza will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.
A special City Council meeting will take place following the swearing-in, where Council will select the next Vice-Mayor, Beer Board Chair, and Council’s Knoxville Transportation Authority representative.
A reception, with light refreshments, will take place in the breezeway after the meeting concludes.
