Meet Vasu Primlani, the City's new Sustainability Director!
Her role is to develop and implement sustainability strategies in collaboration with internal and external City partners.
Vasu comes to Knoxville from Nashville. She isn't yet sure what she's most looking forward to about living in East Tennessee.
Her new colleagues may have some suggestions based on her many hobbies and creative pursuits:
She's a triathlete, artist, author, stand-up comedian, and all-around Type A achiever.
Her experience and leadership in municipal carbon reduction efforts will help the City reach its emissions goals.
