Knoxville's MLK Commemorative Commission invites the community to participate in the MLK Jr. Parade/March & Juneteenth Celebration on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.
This year’s event promises an exuberant day of celebration and remembrance at Dr. Walter Hardy Park, following the parade.
• Parade Lineup: 8:30 a.m. at Chilhowee Park
• Parade Step Off: 10 a.m.
• Parade End: Dr. Walter Hardy Park (2020 Martin Luther King Jr Ave) at approximately 11 a.m.
• Juneteenth Celebration: Dr. Walter Hardy Park from 11am to 4pm.
This event is a cornerstone of community unity and cultural celebration, offering opportunities for local vendors, parade participants, and community organizations to engage with attendees in a vibrant setting.
