Kudos to Our Procurement Savvy City Staff!

March was officially National Public Procurement Month. The Purchasing Division celebrated with a quiz that tested everyone's procurement process know-how.

Turns out: City staff is very much in the know when it comes to the specifics and best practices for procurement!

These 19 City co-workers were perfect and answered every question on the quiz correctly:

Aaron Browning, Parks & Recreation
Emily Campen, Administration
Julie Smith Maxwell, Fire
Ronald Mills, Law
Pam Roberts, Police
Rebecca Basalone, Finance
Kendra Bonilla, Finance
James Webber, Information Technology
Shaina Walker, Housing & Neighborhood Development
Geordy Daws, Engineering
Emily Norris, Community Safety and Empowerment
Curtis Williams, Engineering
Cheri Burke, Neighborhood Codes Enforcement
Aaron Kline, Engineering
Shawn Fitzpatrick, Engineering
Kayla Kretschmer, Employee Benefits and Risk
Chris Howley, Engineering
Keri Collins, Fleet
Scott Elder, Neighborhood Codes Enforcement

Purchasing then did a random drawing among the 19 finalists for the grand prize — a $50 gift card to Yassin's Falafel House.

The winner of the drawing is GEORDY DAWS, with Engineering!

Congratulations to all 19 co-workers for their keen institutional knowledge and attention to detail in doing procurement the right way!
