The Neighborhood Resource Fair helps Knoxville neighbors get the opportunity to learn about all of the resources they have within city government, county government, and non-profit organizations.  It is a half day filled with networking, time to see friends, time to enjoy some great conversations, and collaborations with others.

Office of Neighborhood Empowerment hosted the 2024 Neighborhood Resource Fair on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the Jacob Building in Chilhowee Park, 401 Lakeside Street.

More than 80 governmental agencies and departments, nonprofit organizations, and community groups were on site, ready to inform neighbors about their programs and answer questions about their services.

“Imagine a kind of tradeshow for residents who want to explore the many ways they can work with local government and community partners to improve their neighborhoods and their quality of life,” says Neighborhoods Coordinator Debbie Sharp. “We are excited to host this event again and see what kinds of projects and partnerships result from the conversations that take place.”
