Sam Duff Memorial Park provides the surrounding neighborhoods a recreational play area, within a natural setting. Once a football and track facility for nearby Young High School the area now consists of
Sam Duff Greenway. It is a favorite for runners and walkers.
A wide array of amenities include a dog park, a tennis court, two basketball courts, four pickleball courts, and a large playground. There are picnic facilities and accessible restrooms. A new mulch surface trail connector to the park was created in 2018 by the City's Greenway Crew. The trail provides a more convenient entrance to the park for residents coming from Greenwood Avenue and gives access to a wooded part of the park property that was previously inaccessible. The dog park and accessible restrooms were opened in fall 2022. The dog park was made possible thanks to a donation by the Boyd Foundation.
