Directions: Take the Papermill exit off of I-40 west to Kingston Pike; make a left on Kingston Pike; turn left onto Westwood Drive before you reach Krystals; go to stop sign and make a right onto Herron Drive (one way street); make left onto Woodburn Drive; then make left onto Herron Drive again; park will be on the right. This park is located behind Bearden Elementary School.
Sitting behind Bearden Elementary School, Westwood Park provides the surrounding neighborhood with a playground for the kids and a place to picnic for its residents.
Designed as a neighborhood pocket park, most patrons will find it easier to walk or ride a bike to the park. Drivers can access the park easier from Bearden Elementary School, but parking here is confined to after school hours and weekends.
PARK RULES & REGULATIONS
1.) For the protection of our park and the safety of its users, the following are prohibited:
- No alcoholic beverages
- No open fires
- No hitting golf balls anywhere in the park
- No motorized vehicles in park
- No equestrian activity
2.) Per city ordinance, all animals must be maintained on a leash.
3.) Please be respectful of other trail users.
4.) Please help to keep our parks beautiful by disposing trash in proper receptacles.
5.) Hours - Open dawn to dusk unless otherwise posted.
