Crews on Saturday, April 22, will begin weekend and night work as part of a project to repave North Gallaher View Road between Middlebrook Pike and Kingston Pike. There will be no complete road closures, but intermittent lane closures will likely affect traffic flow as construction continues through Wednesday, April 26 (weather permitting).
Rogers Group Inc. was contracted by the City to execute the repaving project and began grinding down (or milling) the existing surface of the section of Gallaher View Road on Thursday. On Saturday, crews will install traffic sensors at the intersection of Gallaher View Road and Middlebrook Pike.
On Monday and Tuesday, crews will work night hours as they repave the road between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. Work may continue between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26.
The North Gallaher View Road repaving project is part of the City’s annual repaving program. For more information on City projects, visit
