Equity Plan - each piece counts
What is an equity plan

An Equity Plan is a fair housing plan required by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In these plans, communities commit to goals that advance equity in housing, community development programs, and residents’ access to well-resourced areas, opportunity, and community assets.

Update and feedback meeting:
Saturday, April 27, 2024
10 a.m.
Cansler YMCA, 616 Jessamine Street

Attend online: Zoom link
Passcode: 951120

City staff will discuss initial findings, including data analysis, identification and description of fair housing issues, and gauge the community’s considerations of which identified fair housing issues should be prioritized. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback during the meeting.

The components of the Equity Plan creation process include: Conducting Data Analysis and Research; Community Engagement; Determination of Fair Housing Issues and Establishment of Fair Housing Priorities; Identification of Fair Housing Goals; and Submission of the Plan to HUD.
