Directions: From downtown Knoxville, take Kingston Pike headed west; turn left onto Northshore Drive at Western Plaza; park is approximately 2 miles on left at Lakeshore Institute.
A popular location to runners and walkers, Lakeshore Park provides spectacular vistas of Fort Loudoun Lake and the Smoky Mountains. Results from the City greenway laser counter project proved
Lakeshore Greenway to be the most heavily used greenway in Knoxville.
Lakeshore Park is managed by the Lakeshore Park Conservancy, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to preserve, protect, and maintain the Park for public use and to provide on-going financial support for operation, expansion, enhancement, and beautification of the Park. The future development of Lakeshore Park and all park improvements will be supported by private donations. The park also includes vast recreational opportunities with 4 baseball / softball fields with lights, and 4 soccer fields (3 large and 1 small).

HANK RAPPÉ PLAYGROUND
The Hank Rappé Playground is an universal playground designed to be inclusive for children of every ability and includes a resilient surface, multiple play areas and special equipment. It is named in memory of Hank Rappé, the son of Dr. Matt and Brandy Rappé, who passed away on April 5, 2013 – two days before his first Knox Youth Sports tee-ball game at Lakeshore Park.

PARK RULES & REGULATIONS
1.) For the protection of our park and the safety of its users, the following are prohibited:
- No alcoholic beverages
- No open fires
- No hitting golf balls anywhere in the park
- No motorized vehicles in park
- No equestrian activity
2.) Per city ordinance, all animals must be maintained on a leash.
3.) Please be respectful of other trail users.
4.) Please help to keep our parks beautiful by disposing trash in proper receptacles.
5.) Hours - Open dawn to dusk unless otherwise posted.
