Directions: From I-40, take Alcoa Hwy 129-South exit; take the Neyland Dr. exit;
after crossing Kingston Pike, Neyland becomes Concord St.; continue on
Concord, crossing railroad tracks; at next traffic light, turn left onto
Sutherland Ave.; John Tarleton is approximately .3-mile on the right.
Park at the west end of the park. Greenway will begin on Liberty St.
Liberty Street Greenway runs parallel to the west side
of Liberty Street. It connects Middlebrook Greenway to the Juvenile
Justice Center.
The greenway also connects commuters to Knox County's John Tarleton Park, where the Young Williams Animal Center is located.
Future plans for the greenway include connecting it to Third Creek Greenway, which will eventually be connected to
Victor Ashe Park.
