Directions: From I-40, merge onto 640E. Take the TN-62/WESTERN AVE exit- EXIT 1. Head west on WESTERN AVE. Turn RIGHT onto PALMETTO RD. Turn LEFT onto LANDON DR. Turn RIGHT onto NEWBERRY RD. Turn LEFT onto SILVERHILL DR. End at 4529 Silverhill Dr.


Cumberland Estates Recreation Center is located in a wooded area of Northwest Knoxville. This recreation center is one of the largest in the City, boasting a full-sized gym, fully-equipped weight room, a dance studio, and meeting/game room. Cumberland Estates Recreation Center rests on a 26-acre wooded lot, which has an outdoor playground and nature trails.


HOURS OF OPERATION


The operating hours for Cumberland Estates Recreation Center typically consist of Monday-Thursday (10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.) and Friday (10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.). However, when Knox County Schools are closed for in-service days, certain holidays or prolonged breaks, hours change to 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. on the day(s) of the week effected.  If you have a questions about changes in hours, programs or center availability, please contact each center specifically.

RULES AND REGULATIONS IN CITY RECREATION CENTERS

 The following are prohibited in city recreation centers:

1) Possession of firearms and weapons
2) Possession of drugs, alcohol, or any elicit substance
3) Smoking or use of tobacco products
4) Gambling
5) Use of profanity
6) Fighting
7) Dunking or hanging on rims of basketball goals
8) Pets
9) Only indoor court shoes allowed (ex: tennis shoes or non-marking soles)

Violation of these rules or any other rules set by individual centers may result in suspension from this center and others. Suspension terms will be set by each center.
