DIRECTIONS:  From I-40, Merge onto TN-158 W/James White Pkwy. via Exit 388A toward James White Pkwy. Take the exit toward Summit Hill Dr. Turn left onto E. Summit Hill Dr. E. Summit Hill Dr. becomes Dandridge Ave. End at 2235 Dandridge Ave Knoxville, TN 37915-2900.  This facility is adjacent to the Williams Creek Golf Course.  Bare immediately right at entrance parking lot to bottom of the hill.

The Knoxville Adaptive Recreation Center is ADA Compliant, containing a gymnasium, 2 indoor pickleball courts, and indoor swimming pool with ramp and lift entry. This facility is NOT available for rental at this time.

Pool Hours: 
Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Pool Cost:  $3 per person per visit. Splash Pass available for purchase at the pool - 10 visits for $25 or 20 visits for $45

PICKLEBALL HOURS

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS


AQUA ZUMBA 
Have fun and move to the music. You can expect to do exaggerated dance moves, with an upbeat tempo offering the opportunity to tone muscles using water resistance. YOU WILL SWEAT!
Aqua Zumba Cost:  $3 per person per visit (Silver Sneaker Program Offering at Adaptive only)


AQUATIC ARTHRITIS
This recreation shallow warm water program is designed to improve join flexibility and reduce pain and stiffness.  This class is suitable for all skill levels and is safe for non-swimmers.
Aqua Arthritis Cost:  $3 per person per visit (Silver Sneaker Program Offering at Adaptive only)


AQUATIC CARDIO CLASS
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of motion and cardiovascular health.  This class is suitable for moderate skill levels and is safe for non-swimmers.

SILVER SNEAKERS CARD
SilverSneakers SilverSneakers card now accepted for open swim and classes!  SilverSneakers is a free fitness program for seniors that’s helping millions of boomers and beyond defy the odds, shatter stereotypes and answer every challenge with, “I can do this!”  Click here for more info.


RULES AND REGULATIONS IN CITY RECREATION CENTERS


The following are prohibited in city recreation centers:
1) Possession of firearms and weapons
2) Possession of drugs, alcohol, or any elicit substance
3) Smoking or use of tobacco products
4) Gambling
5) Use of profanity
6) Fighting
7) Dunking or hanging on rims of basketball goals
8) Pets
9) Only indoor court shoes allowed (ex: tennis shoes or non-marking soles)

Violation of these rules or any other rules set by individual centers may result in suspension from this center and others. Suspension terms will be set by each center.
