City County Building
The Public Building Authority carries out joint and individual projects for Knox County and the City of Knoxville and affiliated entities such as the Knox County Board of Education and the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority. PBA currently develops, constructs, owns and/or maintains certain facilities on behalf of the City of Knoxville and Knox County pursuant to operating contracts with those entities.
APPOINTMENT OF BOARD MEMBERS
The Board of Directors consists of eleven members serving six-year terms. Five members are appointed by the Mayor and approved by City Council. Six are appointed by the Knox County Mayor and approved by County Commission.
Board meets monthly on the third Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Room 549 of the City County Building.
