Join us for the lighting of the tree at the Chilhowee Park Bandstan
After Christmas at Chilhowee, the park will be open nightly for self-guided walking and driving tours except for Christmas Eve (Dec. 24), Christmas Day (Dec. 25), New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31) and New Year’s Day (Jan. 1).

Window Wonderland

Downtown Knoxville will turn into a Peppermint Trail with windows of restaurants and merchants decorated with the peppermint theme. Merchants and restaurants will also have peppermint items for sale!

WIVK Christmas Parade

Join us for everyone's favorite parade, the WIVK Christmas Parade! Bands, dancers, lighted floats, characters and Santa Claus parade down Gay Street and brings fun holiday spirit to all! To enter a float in the parade you will need to fill out an application with WIVK.
Parade will start on Church Avenue near the Coliseum, then turn right onto Gay Street and will disband at Gay St & Magnolia.

Tour de Lights

Jackson Ave in the Old City
More than 1,000 people participate in this fun, free 5-mile bike parade through downtown, 4th & Gill and Old North Knoxville. Many spectators watch along the route. Participants decorate their bikes and themselves to try to win one of the coveted awards.
