ON-SITE MEDICAL SERVICE PROVIDER
The City of Knoxville and Premise Health are bringing you a better healthcare experience with access to a wellness center dedicated to your needs. It's not open to the public like other community clinics, and the services offered are only available to qualifying individuals. This leads to a more personalized experience, shorter wait times and ultimately, better care.
In addition to employees, acute care services are also provided for spouses, retirees and children over the age of 2, who are covered by the City's Medical Insurance.
LOCATION:

HOURS:
The Center is open Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm, closed for lunch between 12pm - 1pm.

www.mypremisehealth.com, to schedule an appointment or see lab results.
Personal medical services for employees, dependents age 2+, and retirees on the health plan:
- Primary care with annual physicals (eligibility requirements)
- Acute and urgent care
- Skin cancer screening, skin biopsies, skin tag and wart removal
- Wound care with suture or staple application, clinical lancing (incision and drainage)
- Care management from a diabetes nurse specialist, registered nurse, and registered dietitian: The Center’s care manager is an expert in disease process and in navigating the complex healthcare system. Engage with the care manager to focus on chronic disease management, wellness incentives, nutrition, medication management, smoking cessation, and/or personalized behavior interventions for overall health improvement. Research shows patients working with a diabetes nurse specialist will have better outcomes than those left to self-manage or manage with their PCP alone. There is also evidence that supports individualized counseling with a registered dietitian as it is more beneficial than general nutritional counselling from other health care providers not specifically trained in dietary assessments. Care managers can help you be more food inclusive instead of food exclusive.
- Lab services, biometric screenings, and point of care testing
- Dispensing of prescription medication (limited stock)
- Joint and trigger-point injections
- Vaccinations (Tdap, Td, Flu, Pneumovax)
- Digital radiology
- Cerumen removal
