Although summer is just beginning, the City of Knoxville is planning for the upcoming Christmas in the City Celebration.
This festive and magical event takes place in November and December and includes different events put on by many organizations, including the City of Knoxville, which sponsors The Celebration of Lights and the RiverLights Festival.
Organizations that are planning events in November and December are invited to submit information to be included in the Christmas in the City brochure.
The brochure is distributed to hotels, restaurants and other businesses frequented by visitors and residents. In addition, the events brochure is distributed to media throughout the region and promoted on the City's Web site.
