City of Knoxville offices will be closed Thursday, December 25th in observance of the Christmas holiday.
Waste Connections, the city's household garbage collector, will be closed on Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25th. They will pick up Thursday's garbage on Friday and Friday's garbage on Saturday.
The downtown trash collection will not run on Christmas Day but will pick up garbage on Friday at their regular schedule.
The city's recycling centers will be open on Christmas Day.
The City's Solid Waste Management facility located at 1033 Elm Street will be closed Thursday, Christmas Day but will be open on Friday and Saturday at their regular schedule.
