KUB crews will reduce a short section of S. Gay Street to one alternating lane of traffic, between W. Vine Avenue and Wall Avenue, overnight beginning at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2, and lasting through 5 a.m. on Thursday, August 3, as work is performed on the electric distribution system in the area.
The northbound lane will be closed while the southbound lane will remain open and be used to alternate traffic.
KUB crews will also close the southbound sidewalk on Wall Avenue, at its intersection with S. Gay Street, during listed hours as a part of this work.
Access to local businesses will be maintained, and flaggers and signs will be on site to assist with traffic control.
Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction.
Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place at each location to assist motorists traveling in these areas.
Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use caution and expect temporary delays in these areas.
