Directions: Go south on Gay Street over the Gay Street Bridge. Veer left through the light onto Sevier Avenue. At RR crossing sign, veer left onto Island Home Avenue. Continue straight (do not turn toward Ijams) and that street becomes South Haven Road. Park is located about 3/10 of a mile on your left.
The playground at Mary James Park is accessible to those with disabilities. Picnic tables alongside the small creek bisecting the park invite you to enjoy lunch, chat with friends or immerse yourself in a book. Bike racks are provided so pack up the kids and a lunch and venture over to enjoy this neighborhood oasis.
PARK RULES & REGULATIONS
1.) For the protection of our park and the safety of its users, the following are prohibited:
- No alcoholic beverages
- No open fires
- No hitting golf balls anywhere in the park
- No motorized vehicles in park
- No equestrian activity
2.) Per city ordinance, all animals must be maintained on a leash.
3.) Please be respectful of other trail users.
4.) Please help to keep our parks beautiful by disposing trash in proper receptacles.
5.) Hours - Open dawn to dusk unless otherwise posted.
