Directions: To get to the southern entrance of the park, go west on Cumberland Avenue past University of Tennessee's campus; after going under the overpass the park entrance will be on the right. To get to the western entrance of the park, go west on Cumberland Avenue at the Neyland Drive and Concord Street intersect; turn right onto Concord Street; park entrance will be on your right.
Third Creek Greenway begins in Bearden on Forest Park Blvd. It winds southeast along Third Creek and connects to the 3.0-mile Neyland Greenway at the mouth of Third Creek on the Tennessee River. The mid-portion of Third Creek Greenway bisects the 26-acre Tyson Park where there are tennis courts, the Knoxville Skatepark, a large accessible playground and picnic facilities.
This greenway connects with Sequoyah, Bearden Village, and Neyland Greenways.
Third Creek Greenway is also part of the Knoxville Track Club's CrossKnox Race, which runs from Haley Heritage Square in East Knoxville all the way to Bearden Elementary School in West Knoxville.
