Runners on Third Creek

Third Creek Greenway begins in Bearden on Forest Park Blvd. It winds southeast along Third Creek and connects to the 3.0-mile Neyland Greenway at the mouth of Third Creek on the Tennessee River. The mid-portion of Third Creek Greenway bisects the 26-acre Tyson Park where there are tennis courts, the Knoxville Skatepark, a large accessible playground and picnic facilities.

This greenway connects with Sequoyah, Bearden Village, and Neyland Greenways.

Third Creek Greenway is also part of the Knoxville Track Club's CrossKnox Race, which runs from Haley Heritage Square in East Knoxville all the way to Bearden Elementary School in West Knoxville.
