Directions: Located directly downtown on Union Avenue, adjacent to Market Square.
Charles Krutch Park is a scenic park located in the middle of downtown Knoxville. The park features a beautiful water feature with small falls and a flowing stream. Park patrons can enjoy this amenity from the picnic tables provided in the park. The Park is flanked by Krutch Park Extension and Market Square.
KRUTCH PARK EXTENSION
Krutch Park Extension is as the name suggests - an extension of Charles Krutch Park that extends across an alley between Union Ave. and Clinch Ave. The extension flows until it touches Gay Street in the 500 block. The extension includes
water play fountains, benches, shady trees and open space perfect for play.
MARKET SQUARE
Charles Krutch Park is also adjacent to
Market Square which boasts a variety of unique entertainment, shopping and dining options. Since the 1860s, Market Square has been one of Knoxville’s most popular places to shop, work, play, eat, drink and live. Market Square is home to Bill Lyons Pavilion, the
Tennessee Woman Suffrage Memorial statue,
Farmers' Market, outdoor concerts and movies, Shakespeare on the Square and much more. The square also includes picnic tables, benches, shade trees, and
water play fountains.

HISTORY OF THE PARK
The park is named in honor of Charles Krutch, a painter known locally for his scenes of the Smoky Mountains.
PARK RULES & REGULATIONS
1.) For the protection of our park and the safety of its users, the following are prohibited:
- No alcoholic beverages
- No open fires
- No hitting golf balls anywhere in the park
- No motorized vehicles in park
- No equestrian activity
2.) Per city ordinance, all animals must be maintained on a leash.
3.) Please be respectful of other trail users.
4.) Please help to keep our parks beautiful by disposing trash in proper receptacles.
5.) Hours - Open dawn to dusk unless otherwise posted.
