DIRECTIONS: Head south on the Henley Street bridge, and at the red light at Baptist Hospital, turn right onto Blount Ave. (Train tunnel is one lane only.) Continue about 1.5 miles to next red light. On your right will be Mary Vestal Park. Continue straight (approx. 100 ft.) Recreation center is on left. (Entrance is before the railroad tracks.)

Cost: $3 per person per visit.

Monday, Wednesday, & Friday: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tuesday & Thursday: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. & 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday: Closed (check back for updates)

HISTORY OF ELMER BRINE POOL
The pool is named for former beloved lifeguard Elmer Brine. Elmer was easily recognizable as he life-guarded in his 60s and 70s.
RULES AND REGULATIONS IN CITY RECREATION CENTERS
The following are prohibited in city recreation centers:
1) Possession of firearms and weapons
2) Possession of drugs, alcohol, or any elicit substance
3) Smoking or use of tobacco products
4) Gambling
5) Use of profanity
6) Fighting
7) Dunking or hanging on rims of basketball goals
8) Pets
9) Only indoor court shoes allowed (ex: tennis shoes or non-marking soles)
Violation of these rules or any other rules set by individual centers may result in suspension from this center and others. Suspension terms will be set by each center.
