City of Knoxville offices will be closed on Monday, September 5 for the Labor Day holiday.
Waste Connections, the city's household garbage collector, will be closed Monday, September 5th for Labor Day. They will be picking up Monday's garbage on Tuesday etc. until all is picked up on Saturday.
The downtown trash collection will run its normal schedule on Monday, September 5th.
The city's recycling centers will be open on Monday, September 5th.
The city's Solid Waste Management Facility located at 1033 Elm Street will be closed Saturday, September 3rd and Monday, September 5th for the Labor Day holiday.
