KUB Adds Kiosks to Give Customers More Convenient Payment Locations

Posted: 01/30/2012
KUB has improved its payment options for customers with the addition of four new payment kiosks throughout the area. KUB has added kiosks at four local Food City stores. KUB now has a total of nine kiosks that can accept payments during times when KUB's payment centers are unavailable and give real-time payments toward customer accounts.

"We want kiosks to be convenient to where customers live, work, or shop," said Dale Grubbs, KUB Customer Service, "and we think our locations give us a good distribution in our service area."

The kiosks work like an ATM, with easy-to-follow touch screens in English or Spanish. To start the payment process, customers can scan their KUB bill or enter their 10-digit account number.

The kiosks accept payments by cash or check. (The PaySite kiosks provider, U.S. Payments Inc., charges a convenience fee of $1.95 per transaction.) Although kiosks do not accept credit cards, customers can pay with a credit card on www.kub.org or by calling 1-800-405-7951.

The kiosks do not give change, but KUB applies any excess from a kiosk payment as a credit to the customer's account.

Customers can find KUB payment kiosks at the following locations:
