The University of Tennessee Computer Store and UT's Make Orange Green are hosting an Electronics Recycling Event on May 14-16 from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. at locations on campus.
This is a drive-up event, meaning you might not even have to get of the car, and provides an opportunity for safely recycling old and unwanted electronics.
Even though the event is sponsored by UT and is on campus it will also serve the public and is aimed at different groups on different days. For example, Saturday, May 16, is set aside for the general public.
On May 14-15, the collection event is for the UT campus as well as small businesses, government agencies and schools. It will be held in the CFN1 Parking Lot. To get there take Neyland Drive and turn onto Joe Johnson Drive, take the first left onto River drive and then turn left into CFN1.
On May 16, the collection event is open to the General Public and will be in parking lot S66. To get there take Neyland Drive to Joe Johnson, turn right on Chapman Drive and take the immediate right into the parking lot.
