KUB crews will close a short section of the westbound, curbside lane of Kingston Pike between Downtown West Boulevard and N. Gallaher View Road starting at 9 p.m., Thursday, October 22, until 6 a.m., Friday, October 23, as work is performed on the water distribution system in the area. One westbound lane, the center turn lane, and both eastbound lanes will remain open during this time, and access to area businesses will be maintained.
Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction. Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place at each location to assist motorists traveling in these areas. Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use caution and expect temporary delays in these areas.
