(Fort Sanders Area) White Avenue Lane Closure [December 22] – KUB crews will reduce a short section of White Avenue to one alternating lane of traffic between Seventeenth Street and Eighteenth Street from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., on Tuesday, December 22, as work is performed on the water distribution system in the area. The westbound lane will be closed, while the eastbound lane will remain open and be used to alternate traffic. Wednesday, December 23, will be used as a rain date if necessary.     
  
(West Knoxville) Western Avenue Lane Closure [December 22-23] – KUB crews will reduce a short section of Western Avenue to one alternating lane of traffic between Third Creek Road and Sullivan Road from 10 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, until 6 a.m., Wednesday, December 23, as work is performed on the water distribution system in the area. The eastbound lane will be closed, while the westbound lane will remain open and be used to alternate traffic. 

Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction. Appropriate traffic control measures, including flagmen, will be in place at this location to assist motorists traveling in the area. Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use caution and expect temporary delays in this area.
