KUB Lane Closures on S. Northshore, Clinch Ave., Lancaster Dr.

(West Knoxville) S. Northshore Drive Lane Closure [November 3-5] – KUB  and its contractor will reduce a short section of S. Northshore Drive to one alternating lane of traffic between Lyons Bend Road and Lyons View Drive from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily, Tuesday, November 3, through Thursday, November 5, as work is performed on the natural gas distribution system in the area. The northbound lane will be closed while the southbound lane will remain open and be used to alternate traffic. 

(Fort Sanders Area) Clinch Avenue Lane Closure [EXTENDED November 3-5] – KUB crews will reduce a short section of Clinch  Avenue to one alternating lane of traffic between Twentieth Street and Twenty-First Street between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily from Tuesday, November 3, until Thursday, November 5, as work is performed on the natural gas distribution system in the area. The westbound lane will be closed, while the eastbound lane remains open and used to alternate traffic. Access to businesses and parking areas will be maintained.

(South Knoxville) Lancaster Drive Road Closure [November 4-6] – KUB crews will close Lancaster Drive between Wallace Road and Sevierville Pike from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily, starting Wednesday, November 4, through Friday, November 6, as work is performed on the natural gas system in the area. Alternate routes include Sevierville Pike, Sevier Heights Road, Wallace Drive, Alpine Drive, and Tilson Street. 

Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction. Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place at each location to assist motorists traveling in these areas. Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use caution and expect temporary delays in these areas.
