Parking is free in City and County owned garages after 6 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends, except during special events.

ON-STREET PARKING ZONES

• Payment via ParkMobile; no coins or cards accepted for on-street
• 2-hr maximum Parking Zone: increase from $1.50 to $2/hour
• 4-hr maximum Parking Zone: increase from $.30 to $1/hour
• 10-hr maximum Parking Zone (South Central from S. Hill to Main St.): increase from $.30 to $1 per hour
• Hours for payment and enforcement – 8 am-8 pm, Monday-Saturday



GARAGES & LOTS

• Hours and prices remain the same!
- Hours 7 am-6 pm
- Prices $1 per hour; $7 max per day at Locust St., State St., Market Square, Main Ave. Garages & Jackson Ave. Lot
- Coliseum $5 per day - More Coliseum Parking Information
• Cash and cards accepted. Cash until 8 pm, cards anytime.
• Free nights and weekends will continue with the exception of a $3 flat fee at Market Square Garage on Saturdays from 8 am-6 pm.
• Payment will be required regardless of departure time.

The City of Knoxville is excited to partner with ParkMobile to make on-street parking downtown easier and more convenient. The mobile system is already in use in several cities and locations, including on UT’s campus.

Covenant Health Park Parking

Boyd Sports has partnered with the City of Knoxville and Knox County to develop a comprehensive parking plan for Knoxville Smokies games and other event days at Covenant Health Park, downtown Knoxville’s new publicly owned sports and entertainment stadium. The collaborative parking plan features more than 1,500 dedicated parking spaces to serve Covenant Health Park, including 1,100 for the general public and 400 for staff, vendors and season ticketholders. There will be a free shuttle from designated parking garages provided by Knoxville Area Transit (KAT), offering visitors a five-minute ride to and from Covenant Health Park.
