Road closures:
-Friday, Sept. 3, Henley Bridge closes to traffic at 7 p.m. and will remain closed until 7 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 5
-Saturday, Sept. 4, Neyland Drive closes to traffic at 5 a.m. from Walnut to Lake Loudon Blvd. And will remain closed until 7 a.m. Sunday, Sept.
-Saturday, Sept. 4, Neyland Drive/James White Parkway closes at 4 p.m. from Cumberland Exit to Lake Loudon Blvd and will remain closed until 7:00 am Sunday, Sept. 5.
Boating:
-UT docks will be closed to boats on Sept. 4
-No boats will be allowed in the area due to this being in the fireworks fallout zone
-Signage to this effect will be posted beginning Friday, Aug. 27
-Docking will be available at the Tennessee Grill and Calhoun's docks
-Limited space can be reserved at Volunteer Landing Marina @ 633-5004
-Mooring @ the UT docks will be open to parking after the fireworks with TWRA directing the largest vessels into place first
-TWRA and Coast Guard will be ticketing for the following offenses:
1. Navigating lights not working
2. Children under 13 not wearing a life jacket
3. Fire extinguisher not in good working order
4. Absence of personal floatation device for each person on boat plus one throwable device
Parking:
-City County Building Garage will open at 11 am
-Handicapped parking will be available in the City County Building Garage with viewing on the L-3 deck
-Special Event Parking will be available most UT parking lots for $5. Vehicles must be removed by 1 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 5. Vehicles will be towed after that time in order to conduct a security sweep and clean.
-Permit-holders for UT game parking will have to remove their vehicles as well. No overnight parking is allowed.
-UT parking lots will open on Sunday, Sept. 5 at 1:00 for game parking.
