City of Knoxville offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The city's garbage collector, Waste Connections, will not pick up trash on Thanksgiving Day, but will run Thursday routes on Friday.
On Saturday, Waste Connections will collect from routes usually run on Friday.
Garbage will be collected downtown on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 27-28.
