Included in the show are works by artists: Graham Baker, Diana Bundy, Starr Cline, Lauren Karnitz, Ben McKamey, Natalie Martin, Trevor Mikula, Ryan Sale, Phil Savage, Brenda Scourby, Stan Narten and Katie Walberg.

Bliss HOME will the feature the works of local artist Stacey Fletcher. Stacey is back from Poland with new and colorful abstract paintings. She was awarded the opportunity to paint in an artist workshop for two weeks in Chelm, Poland. This work is fresh with vibrant lively colors, with layered memories of the adventures taken this summer. Metaphors of herself and others contrast with the chaotic approach of the energetic marks. They seem abstract at first glance to the viewer, but have some sense of childhood imagery disguised among the colorful layers.

Yee Haw Industries will host their famous blowout end of summer yard sale. Don’t miss spectacular deals on posters, tee-shirts, cards, and miscellaneous production samples.

Preservation Pub will offer FREE Pizza til 6:30, an extended Happy Hour till 9:00 and will host Jescoe playing all your favorite songs.

Reruns will feature LIVE Mannequins. Downtown Grill & Brewery will extend their happy hour until 10:00 featuring $2 pints, Long Island Ice Tea, and margaritas as well as double wells and calls and $1 off house wines. The Arts & Culture Alliance presents "Oil and Steel: Muscle and Mind", featuring local artists Clay Pardue (oil on board) and Michael Russell (metal sculptures). Complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres are served. The UT Downtown Gallery will present “Through the Lens of Ed Westcott: A Photographic History of World War II’s Secret City." Westcott was the official photographer for the Oak Ridge division of the Manhattan Project. Sapphire offers iSFR where you are the DJ! Bring your iPod or digital music player and you can show 'em what you got. One Vision Plaza hosts the Writer's Block LIVE Concert Series with a special “local folks” showcase called HOMECOOKIN! A salute to the locals featuring Knoxville's BEST Singer Songwriters!

"First Friday" – is a highly successful event that began in October of 2003. On the first Friday of every month each downtown business offers something special for all Knoxvillians and visitors. Promotions include artist receptions, gallery openings, special food and drink offerings and more. Each of these events has drawn between 500 and 1,000 people to the Market Square District.
