The fifth annual Neighborhood Bike Ride Waterfront Tour, sponsored by the City of Knoxville and organized by the Knoxville Regional Bicycle Program, will be held on Saturday, Nov 5.
The 10.5-mile tour - which highlights the City's two new greenways - will begin at 9 a.m. with bike safety checks and refreshments at Market Square.
The ride will begin at 10 a.m.
Enjoying waterfront views of north and south Knoxville, bicyclists will ride on two new City greenways to Ijams Nature Center.
"This is a great way for Knoxville residents to get some exercise while enjoying some of the scenic treasures that Knoxville has to offer," said Mayor Bill Haslam.
Bicyclists of all riding levels are encouraged to bring a water bottle and helmet for this scenic tour.
Free parking is available at the Locust Street Garage. Breakfast and lunch refreshments will also be provided.
