City of Knoxville offices will be closed on Monday, December 25th in observance of Christmas Day.
Waste Connections, the city's household garbage collector, will be closed from Saturday, Dec. 23 thru Christmas Day before resuming service on Tuesday, Dec. 26.
There will be downtown trash collections on Friday, Dec. 22, and Saturday, Dec. 23 before resuming after Christmas.
The city's recycling centers will remain open through the holiday.
The city's Solid Waste Management Facility, located at 1033 Elm Street will be open from 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 22, but will be closed Dec. 23-25.
