City of Knoxville offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 23rd and 24th in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday. Waste Connections, the city's household garbage collector, will be closed on Thursday, November 23rd.
The Thursday route will be run on Friday and the Friday route will be run on Saturday.
There will be downtown trash collections on Thursday and Friday; Saturday collections will be from 12 a.m. to 4 a.m.; no collections on Sunday.
The city's recycling centers will be open. The city's Solid Waste Management Facility, located 1033 Elm Street, will be closed Thursday through Sunday.
