The Knoxville Convention Center is the site this weekend for the BlueCross Healthy Living Expo, billed as the largest consumer show dedicated to health, fitness and nutrition.
The City of Knoxville will be among the exhibitors providing information about its services. Staff will have information about recreational opportunities and maps of local parks, safety education activities and more. Turn in your old mercury thermometer and receive a new one free!
Headliners include two stars of the reality weight-loss show, "The Biggest Losers." In addition, there will be cooking and exercise demonstrations, medical screenings and seminars. Click on the Healthy Living Expo logo for a complete schedule of activities.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 27 and 28. Admission costs $5, and is free to children 5 and younger.
