Mayor Bill Haslam, Tony Spezia, president and CEO of Covenant Health, and Race Director Jason Altman, will held a press conference on Tuesday, March 24 at 3 p.m. inside Neyland Stadium to discuss the upcoming Knoxville Marathon.
The fifth annual Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon is a weekend-long fitness event involving roughly 5,000 runners of all ages covering distances from a one-mile fun run for children to the full marathon.
Most of the races will travel through several Knoxville neighborhoods before ending in Neyland Stadium.
