The City of Knoxville will hold a public meeting to discuss the ongoing construction work on the 100 Block of Gay Street which is also known as the Gay Street Streetscapes Project.

Where: Emporium Building, located at 100 S. Gay Street.
City officials and contractors will provide an update on the status of the 18- month-long project that includes plans to do much-needed repair and reconstruction work on the underground structures supporting the block in addition to utility upgrades.
The $3.5 million project also includes the replacement of the street and both sidewalks as well as streetscape improvements.
