Historic Ramsey House Plantation will be celebrating its 45th annual COUNTRY MARKET FALL FESTIVAL on October 24th and 25th.
Join the Ramsey House Plantation for what has become one of Knoxville's favorite fall traditions! You'll find a large selection of quality antiques and collectibles with knowledgeable dealers. Bring your own antique treasures for appraisals by John Case of Case Antiques!
Enjoy shopping for Folk Art and Traditional Crafts. There will also be heirloom seeds, garden ornaments, and gourmet foods. Activities will include a Silent Auction and Garden Talks featuring Neil Denton, Jon Damron, and gardeners from the Knox County Master Gardeners Program. Also shop for heirloom seeds in the Ramsey House Gift Shop!
In addition to historic demonstrations such as blacksmithing, chair caning, spinning, whittling, quilting, and lace-making, take our daily historic house tours, or thrill to "A Haunting at Ramsey," a special tour on Saturday evening telling of long-ago haunts and mysterious tragedies for those with a heart for history, a love of folklore, and a sense of fun!
Or, make a reservation for one of our "Behind the Scenes Tours" including an insider's glimpse into the historic home's cellar with archeologist Dr. Charles Faulkner, and tour featuring a detailed look at the period furnishings of Ramsey House with restoration specialist James Hooper.
Special additions to this year's festival include a Meeting with Bill Landry to have your favorite Heartland video or anything else personally signed; Horse Drawn Wagon Rides, a Children's Train Ride, and other Children's Activities!
Come for the fantastic antiques, arts & crafts, great food, a wonderful historic experience, and good old-fashioned fun!
