Despite a hectic December schedule, Santa Claus has plans to stop by Knoxville Zoo for a special holiday appearance. Join the jolly old elf himself for Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., with seating beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Guests will enjoy a hot breakfast buffet in the Pilot Special Exhibit Building and festive holiday crafts and games inspired by the season. Guests can also have a personal visit with Santa to reassure him that they have indeed been very nice this year, and pose for a keepsake photo, so be sure to bring your camera. Santa's helpers will make sure each child receives a special zoo gift, too.
Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling the zoo at (865) 637-5331, ext. 300. Tickets are $22.95 for adults and $17.95 for children 2-12 years. Children under 2 are free. Zoo members receive a $3.00 discount on tickets. Ticket price includes breakfast, all games and activities, child's holiday gift from Santa and admission to Knoxville Zoo. Seating to this event is limited.
