The City of Knoxville employees had their annual Chili Challenge to benefit the City's Charitable Campaign.
Channel 10's Erin Donovan "Darin' Erin" was the official judge of the Grand Prize - The Coveted Chili Cauldron. For a charge of $5 per person, City employees sampled and voted for the People's Choice Award and Best Presentation. Approximately $1,000 was raised for the City's Charitable Campaign.

Community Development - "Urban Hen Chili: 6 Hens to Every Pot"
Engineering - "The Buck Stops Here Chili"
Fire Dept - "Fire House Chili"
Fleet - "Wrecked Chili"
Info Systems - "Knock Out Chili"
KAT - "Hill Billy Chili"
KPD - "Tombstone Chili"
Law Dept. - "VOLhalla Viking Chili"
Parks and Recreation - "Super Hero Chili"
Public Assembly - "Chillin' with Chilly & Chili"
Public Service - "Trail Blazin' Chili"

People's Choice Chili - The Golden Ladle
1st Place: Engineering - "The Buck Stops Here Chili"
2nd Place: KPD - "Tombstone Chili"
Best Presentation - The Shiny Red Colander
1st Place: Community Development - "Urban Hen Chili: 6 Hens to Every Pot"
2nd Place: Civil Service - "Hotter 'n' He#@ Chili"
Grand Prize - The Coveted Chili Cauldron
1st Place: Public Assembly - "Chillin' with Chilly & Chili" (although briefly pillaged by the Law Dept's VOLhalla Vikings!)
2nd Place: KPD - "Tombstone Chili"
Honorable Mention: Fire Dept. - "Fire House Chili"
