City Council is currently taking applications for filling an anticipated vacancy in the Fifth District City Council Seat.
Applicants need to apply in person at the City Council's Office, Room #460, City County Building. More info available at 865-215-2075.
Applicants must hold no other elective public office, be at least 21 years of age and have lived in the 5th District for at least one year.
Applications will be taken until noon cut-off deadline on Tuesday, January 18, 2011.
A Special Called City Council Meeting will be held on Thursday, January 20, at 5:00 pm in the Main Assembly Room to hear from the applicants and vote on filling the vacancy.
