The East Tennessee Historical Society will hold an Open House on Saturday, December 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 .pm.at the East Tennessee History Center.
Cookies and apple cider will warm the day at the East Tennessee Historical Society's Holiday Open House.
Activities include live musical performances by a barber shop quartet, quilting and needlework demonstrations, ornament and craft making for the kids, cookies and hot cider, and Christmas stories from the Civil War.
In addition, visitors are invited to browse the Museum Store for a great selection of traditional gifts, history books, and children's items.
Visitors are also invited to tour the new feature exhibition Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War, as well as the permanent exhibition Voices of the Land.
All events are free and open to the public.
