- Operations on the Henley Bridge were suspended Friday at noon while workers took time to attend services for Britton Bridge employee, John Womac. Mr. Womac was killed in anindustrial accident on the Henley Bridge on Tuesday, January 25. Our sincerest condolences go out to the family and friends of John Womac.
Operations on the Henley Bridge have continued this morning and will continue its normal daytime and nighttime activities.

Also, there will be a meeting with Councilman Nick Pavlis and the South Knoxville businesses at the Henley Community Center, Monday, January 31, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss issues with the closure of the Henley Bridge. Everyone is invited.
