Proclamations from Mayor Brown and Mayor Burchett were presented to eight local chapters of the Daughers of the American Revolution (DAR) on Thursday.
Each chapter received proclamations honoring "Constitution Week" for Sept. 17-23 and "DAR Day" in Knoxville for Oct. 11.

This year marks the 121st Anniversary of the founding of the DAR.
