The Knoxville City Council has named a Pension Task Force to review,analyze and evaluate the sustainability of the current city pension systemand, if necessary, to offer advice and recommendations to City Councilpertaining to maintaining and enhancing the long-term viability andsustainability of that system.
Beginning August 18 the Pension Task Force will meet at 4:00 p.m. on the third Thursday ofeach month in the KCDC Boardroom at Knoxville'sCommunity Development Corporation (KCDC) located at 901 N. Broadway.
