The City of Knoxville's Parks and Recreation Department wants to know what you think - and now is a great time to let the department know how it can better serve you.
Parks and Recreation has posted a 12-question public survey on the city's website. It seeks public input on what people like about the city's parks and recreation offerings, what they don't like and what they would like to see more of in the future.
The survey can be completed in less than ten minutes.
"We base what we do on the wants and needs of the public," said Joe Walsh, Director of Knoxville Parks and Recreation. "We hope residents will take this opportunity to tell us how we can improve our facilities and services for Knoxville."
The department currently manages more than 80 parks, 50 miles of greenways, 14 community centers, five public swimming pools and three golf courses among other offerings.
